Olive Oil | The Ancient Beauty Trick

Olive-Oil1Olive oil has been around for centuries. It is a necessary cooking ingredient. It has lots of vitamins and minerals that are good for the inside and outside of your body.

Did you know that it’s great for split ends/deep conditioning? Next time you have a spare 20 mins, try it out! Mix it in with your conditioner. I like to heat it in the microwave a little bit to help it mix better. After you shower it off, your hair will be noticeably softer.  🙂

Olive oil can also be a natural makeup remover! Mix 3 parts water to 1 part olive oil, and voila! It might be a little oily, but I like to use it before washing my face anyways. If you’re into 100% natural, it’s right up your alley! *Remember the oil and water rule! Make sure to shake it up real good before using!*

babyoiltanning450x200(Note: that is not me in the picture, but that is what it looks like). I have “olive” skin, and don’t burn easily, so I use it as tanning oil! (This does NOT have SPF if you are sensitive to the sun.) Not only does this attract the sun as the traditional baby oil would, but it deep conditions my skin and makes it way softer (without smelling like baby)! If you do this, make sure to rub it in to your cuticles and nails 😉
